A Scandal in Bohemia

A Prince was going to get married in Bohemia with a princess. He used to love a woman called Irene Adler. However, they were not able to marry because she was an ordinary woman. Irene threatened the kingdom that if the prince was going to get married with someone else, then she would send picture to the public of the Prince and her together. Sherlock Holmes was to get the picture (which they do not know where it is). Sherlock solved this mystery by asking his sidekick Dr. Watson to fake that there was fire near Irene's house. He said to do this because just as a mom looks for her baby, Irene would look for her most important thing in her house,which is the picture in this case. They figured out that the picture was in this shelf. The next day, Irene left a note to Holmes that she just did not keep a promise to herself and so that she just gave up. She told Holmes hat she will keep the photo safe and that is how the case ended.

A Case of Identity

One day a woman called Miss Mary Sutherland told Sherlock Holmes her case. Her mother had divorced and had married again. The father is only five years older than Mary. He was very strict about money. One day, Mary told her parents that she would be going to a ball.At the ball, she met a man called Mr. Hosmer Angel. They had fell in love with each other. Mary did not want to tell her father about about this so she invited him when her father was away. Mary never went to Mr. Hosmer Angel's house. Later, Mr. Angel asked Mart to marry her when her father was away. When they arrived at the wedding hall, her fiance had just disappeared. Holmes figured out that the man was Mary's father because if her daughter is getting married, then he had to give her money. He did not want that so he faked like he was another person. The was why Mary's father was not there whenever 'Mr. Angel' came over and it also explains why 'Mr. Angel' asked Mary to marry him when Mary;s father was away.


The Red-Headed League
A man called Jabez Wilson  with red hair had come to talk to Sherlock Holmes this time. He said that his friend called Vincent Spaulding, who worked together told him about the Red-Headed-League.  person called  was a job and Jabez told it. However, one day he saw a sign that said it was dissolved. He wanted Holmes to figure out what was wrong. At the end it was told that Spaulding was working with the person that made the Red-Headed League. They just needed Jabez out of Spaulding's office for a few days. It was because they were digging and underground railroad that was connected to the bank, when they were finished digging, the dissolved the Red-Headed League. Later Holmes and a few of his friend;s who were the police had caught them in the bank. All in all the Red-Headed League rigmarole was to keep Wilson out of his shop while they dug in the basement, in order to break into the bank.


The Boscombe Valley Mystery
This time there was a mystery at a valley called Boscombe. A person called Charles McCarthy was killed by a murderer. They hd to figure out who the murderer was. One of the witness said that they saw a man called James was carrying a gun. However a lady called Alice Turner says that James is innocent because he would not even dare to kill a dragonfly. James and Alice loves each other. At the result, it was Alice's father, John who did the whole thing. He used to be with a group of robbers in Australia. They stole a gold convoy in which Charles was the wagon driver.The group suceded and John McCathy a.k.a Charles so married and had Alice. Later, somehow, he met Charles again and Charles threatened that he would blackmail him. John gave Charles some money but Charles was not satisfied. He demanded that James and Alice should get married. John did not want THAT to happen, so he secretly asked Charles to met at Bonscombe Valley. Then he killed Charles. It was a sad case because seven months later, John died because of his illness.  However, it was said that Alice and James might get married, forgetting about their past.


The Five Orange Pips
One day, a man named John Opensaw came and talked about his case. He talks about his uncle's and father's death. His uncle's name is Elias, was very cold to other people but was very warn to John.  He took care of John because he wanted to. One day a letter came and it contained five orange pips and it was from a person called K.K.K. It seemed like the uncle knew something. He did not do anything about it. From that day, he started asking weird and was found dead in the backyard. The police thought that he suicided but John did not think so. When his father, Joseph,came to live with him, another mail came from the same person with the same thing but there was a letter in it. It said to put the papers in the sundial. Joseph did not do anything about it. One day, he was found in a deep chalk pit and was found dead. John just have received the same mail and that is how he went to Sherlock Homes. Homes told him to put the letters in the backyard. John told him that they burned the letters except for one. Then Holmes told him to put that one on the backyard and to write that the others were burned. Later, Holmes found out that the people were a group of people on a boat and K.K.K. ment the Ku Klux Klan. John was found dead in a lake and Holmes send the letters back to the crew ( the letters they had send to the Opensaw family) but there weren't any letters back.


The Speckled Band
One day a lady called Helen Stoner came to tell Sherlock Holmes hercase.Her mother did when she was young and now lives with her stepfather Grimesby Roylott.He lives in stoke moran with a bunch of gypsies taking care of a baboon and a cheetah. She also talked about her sister's death. One day, her sister, Julia asked her if she ever herd a low whistle in the middle of the dead.Well, Helen never did unless if she was the one who was the one doing it.That same day, Helen was awakened by a terrible scream from her sister. Sadly, it was Julia's last day with her last words- oh my god! Helen it was the band!!! The speckled band!! The coroner never found out of what had caused her death. However, before Julia died she was trying to get married. And later, Helen was asked her hand in marrige and when she told Roylott. Roylott replied that Helen's room needed repairment when everything was fine. Also Helen had to sleep in Julia's room in the exact bed she slpet in. It was when Helen herd a low whistle and decided to go to Holmes.


Later, the result was very shocking. The thing that killed Julia was fright. Roylott did not want to give part of his money to Julia so he got a swamp adder and trained it to came down a bellrope (in Julia's room) and to attack her.So Holmes made the swamp adder to attack Roylott and that was the end of him...


The Engineer's Thumb
One day, a man called  Mr. Victor Hartherley came to tell his case. He talked to a man called  Colonel Lysander Stark. He siad that there was something wrong with their company's machine and asked Victor to fix. He said that this had to be a secret. When Victor went to Stark's house. He realized that the machine was very dangerous and that it depended on his life. He escaped safely but apparently lost his thumb. 
However, when they went with the police to arrest them it was to late. The house was burning and they had escaped. There was basically no result.
I did not really get the story and it was kind of boring for me. I hope that the next story will be way better.

Danny,the Champion of the World

Danny is a nine-year old boy who lives in a gypsy caravan. His mother died when he was four months old. Since then, his father has been taking care of him. His father is a mechanic who never run out of wonderful stories to tell. Life was very peaceful until Danny was told of one of her dad's deep dark secrets. His dad used to do poaching which is stealing other people;s stuff. People who do poaching consider it as a sport. His dad had learned it because his dad used to do it. It was because back then people were very poor in England that they barely had anything to eat. Danny's father was so addicted to it that he continued to do it even though he had enough to eat and drink. However, he had stopped when his wifed had died and promised himself not to do it again until Danny was old enough to be alone. Now he had broken his promise and told everything about it. They mainly steal roost pheasant which is a similar animal to a rooster. Danny grandfather knew the easy way to catch them- raisins. There were two methods to catch them. The first method was to was to stick horsehair and to wait for the animals to come eat it. When they it it, their throat would be very itchy that they will stay very still. The second  method is that you lay the raisins the direction you want your animal to come. They will follow the raisin path. Eventually, they will dig their heads in the paper cone and they will stay very still even though you poke or shout at them. Danny;s dad promises him that he will that him someday when he gets his skills back.
Mr. Hazell's house was the was the target for every poacher. He was very rich but had a bad attitude which was way people hated him much more and would always revenge in a unusual way. Danny's father said that he would go poaching today too and that he had always been poaching at Mr. Hazell's house. Almost everyone in the town did the poaching at Mr. Hazzel's house. 
It was one day when Danny's father went poaching and promised that he would come back bye ten-thirty. Danny woke up at two in the the morning and he was four hours due to his father's time! Quickly without thinking, Danny got into his father's car and started driving to the rich man's house. When he reached that place, he noticed that his father fell in a big hole and the people who was guarding Mr.Hazell's place had planned all of this. With luck, they could not see his father's face because it was too dark. They quickly escaped and called a doctor who was a friend of Danny's father. When Danny's father was all recovered and after the Doctor gave him sleeping pills(which he never ate), he told Danny a gravy secret. He said that once a year, at Mr. Hazell's house, lots of royal people would come and bring guns and would have a shooting party. They would bring pheasants home with them for a gift. Danny's dad said that he would like to steal ALL the 200 pheasants . Danny told his dad that this was imposible but later he had an idea. He told his dad that he should the second method but put a little sleeping pills. Danny's father called this the Sleeping Beauty method and that they had to do this in two days- thursday and friday. On friday.Danny's dad said that he would not need to go to school and also that that he could come poaching that day too. Danny is very scared but excited at the same time.


At the end, they had acomplished their plan but the sleeping pills did not last. Mr. Hazell came to their house and the pheasants flew to his car so Mr. Hazell drove the car to make them go away but they did not. It left Danny and his father 2 pheasants to eat. They had a wonderful feast and it ended in a dramatic way.

The Moffat Museum

There was no place called a museum.... not until the Moffat family made one....


It just all started when Jane suddenly thought that the Moffat's should have en museum. She told her two brothers, Joey and Rufus and her big sister who is about to get married- Sylvie. They get some star dust (which I don't get), an old bicycle they were all taught of how to write on.  They also display some aircrafts  and the most shocking thing is that Rufus turns into a waxworks boy. A journalists who writes free newspapers everyday, writes about the Moffat museum and a tourist who takes kids and always gives them a tour, brings students to show the wonderful and amazing museum. Sylvie gives them a brilliant painting for them to display at the museum.


Even though that Jane is very happy. She is worried too. Sylvie is getting married and she is going to be the flower girl. Also she is really sad because instead of being the 4 little Moffat's it would be the 3. However, she tries her best to get prepared.   

Jacob Have I Loved

Jacob have I loved is a very classical story. It is about two twins called Louise and Caroline. Caroline is much beautiful and better. They eat and sleep in the same room but nothing can put them together.


This book was very hard for me I only read the first chapter. Also high school students should read this, NOT ELEMENTARY  OR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS. I will read this again later. Iam sorry this is not a proper summary. Also my new school had a lot of due dates and tons of homework. And I am serious. TONS of homework I am very sorry but I did not know that this had was there until today. I was really busy. I mean like really busy. I am very sorry. I hope that you will really understand me. Thimble Summer

Garnet Linden calls it a thimble summer... because it all began with that silver thimble...
On a hot summer, when it was like never raining, a nine year old girl called Garnet found a silver thimble. Suprisingly a few hours after she found that silver thimble,it started raining cats and dogs!!!!The next day, she her father told her that the government will help and give money to the Linden family for the barn!!! Linden then knew that this was all because of that silver thimble. A few days later there was an arrivel of Eric. he has been hitchhiking for an year and the Lindens' said that he could stay with them. Garnet was worried that there were 3 brothers in her family. Jay, the middle brother is very excited having a big brother.


A few days later, Garnet and her best friend, Cintronella, were going to the library. They were there for hours until Cintronella noticed that the librarian left and that the were locked in. Garnet was very excited however, Cintronella, on the other hand was scared. Later they got rescued by there neighbors but Garnet thought that it was very exciting to be locked in a library once.

The town was having  a fair and Garnet was ready. She knew for sure that her pig timmy would win the blue ribbon. And amazingly, her perdiction was right! Timmy DID recieve the blue ribbon!!

After all these great events, Garnet decides that this is all because of the thimble she found. She decides to believe in magic too. This was her thimble summer.

Islands of the Blue Dolphins

Hello. This was a very classical story which I did not like. I’m very sorry but I have nothing to write. It was a story of a girl, named Karana surviving. When she was living gracefully at her isalnd, whit men came. Her tribe and the white men made a contract. However, when the white men brike the contract, they fought. later the white men left. They had a new cheif because the old one was killed.  The new chief said that they would leaf the island. When her tribe was about to leave an island, she was left behind with her brother. Her brother died because he got killed by wild dogs. She built her own house and started to have a life. Years later,white men in command of the new cheif came back to rescue her. They told her that the last ship had hit a big storm. The ship sunk and killed all the people on it. I’m very sorry this summery was short but this was more than a conversation book than a summary book. I did not like it because it had a sad ending and it was boring. Once again, I’m very sorry. I really wish that you would understand me. Thank you.   

Sisters Grimm 5

the grimms were in a case. the wand of merlin,a time machine clock, and water which nakes you never get older.the qoh won the election so charming disappered for 3 months so far. the new mayor did not want humans to live in her town. soshe made them pay alot of taxes. when they paid, she would give them more taxes to pay.

when sabrina was in the forest with her sister, she found mr canis in his wolf side. when they were about to get eaaten, 2 women came and rescued them. later they somehow were in the future because the 2 women who rescued them were 26 and  21 year old sabrina and dalphene grimm.

later the future people sended the 2 younger people plus charming because somhow he had came to the future which explains why he was missing.

the time traveling thing was kept on going on. their first grimm basil appered on a ship and it was because of the time traving the sisters expirienced. they made the ship go back to their own time. they also figured out that cinderalle stole the 3 things.

Cindy had noooo idea of what they were talking about. then they knew that her husband tom made cindys mice to get all those things. he did it because he wanted to become young. he was not an everafter and he wanted to live with cindy forever. however cindy became old instead of tom getting younger. they were both satisfied.

on sabrinas birthday, charming gave her a pressent. it was not exactly a pressent. it was a women named bunny who is the evil queen in snow white. she was here to ask the mirror herself of who can break their parents spell. the answer was goldilocks.

when sabrina was about to sleep, she heard knocking on the door. it was the qof and a BUNCH
or lot of people. they all had a red handprint on their chest which ment that they worked for the scarlet hand.however more suprisingly they told her that they just had a new member. and it was...

Sisters Grimm 4

Puck got kinda hurt so they went to new york.They figured out that Pucks parents were kings and queens underground. They had a party because Puck returned but pucks dad died. someone had poisoned him and there was a red handprint on it. so the grimms and puck and his fiance(lng story ) went to figure out who did it.at first they suspected the servent who gave the juice but later they figured out that it was pucks fiance. however that wasnot all. one of the wizards were hiding a secret about their mother. she had a notebook which included a speech about how everafters can work together. sadly the wizard took the book and hid it from his workshop. gladly the grimms got their mothers notebook back and they read the speech to the everafters at new york. puck got heeled and he had the decision to become king. however he chose to be with the grimms. so they all went home!

The Sisters Grimm 3

 So Puck Saved sabrina from the girl and went to the hospital. Sabrina broke her arm but she csred about her parents. The child dissapered with her parents. Relda said that she did not want to loose any more relatives and that she told Sabrina to do this case later. However at night Sabrina got a handful of books and did some reaserch she was on a page about this hospitle for everaftrs. That's when she figured out that Little Red Riding Hood took her parents.

Later Sabrina, Dalphne, and Puck went to that hospitle. However Dalphne found some information about Hood when they got there. When they were about to take that information, a man appered and said that they could not take that. SO they ran!!!!!!!

The next day, the Grimms were going to see the new school that was build after the explosion. Mr. Canis could not have survived because he sacrificed himself to save the rest of the 'school poeple' in book 2.(He was under the school building) When they went inside Charming was making a 'wonderful' speech. However the QofH (Queen of Hearts) interupted and told the whole group of how Charming and that Grimms make a deal last time. (book 2) ALL of the everafters were suprised. Suddenly Puck started protected the Grimms. She stated hitting people who hated the Grimms. Later something fell from the roof. He was a man and it says:

The man asked "Are you ok mother?"
"MOTHER?????" Sabrina and Dalphne said
"Yes I am Jacob" Grandma Relda replied

It has been told that Jacob was Sabrina's uncle. Howwever he has been forgotten in the whole town because of Granny. A long time ago, Jacob figured out of how to break the towns spell. He snuck into Baba yaga's house and broke the spell. Then Hood and the Jabberwocky/monster escaped  the hospital. The Jabberwocky tried to kill Jacob but their grandpa, Basil sacrificed his own life to let Jacob live. All the town's people wanted to escape so Granny had put forgetful dust.

They also figured out that you could kill the Jabberwocky with the sword but they had to find the peices. Later when they got all the pieces, they went to the blue fairy (from pinnocio) and asked her to put the sword back into the right places. They killed the Jabberwocy and Hood said that she was not the leader of the scarlet hand. However they got their parents back but figured out that there had to be a romantic kiss (ewwwwwwww!) to wake them up. They are now trying to figure out how to. Mr. Canis was still alive. Granny had lied to them because Mr.Canis asked them. But his wolf apperence was slowly showing appereance day after day.

The sisters Grimm 2

Trouble was coming ahead.. the Grimms just knew it...

In book two it is mostly about school problems. In the place where Sabrina and Dalphne lives (Ferrypot landing) there is a school.Relda (their grandma) wanted them to go to school. Sabrina hated this because she always did research on their parents disaperence every night breaking grandma's rules. In that school it was spred that their were 2 everafters: Snow White and Piper. Everyone called Snow Ms. White because because she is a teacher.Piper was called Mr. Hameltin because he was the princepal.They met one of the administraters called Mr.Sheepsank. Sabrina liked him because he understood children. Dalphne's teacher was Ms. White and Sabrina's teacher was called Mr.Grumper who Sabrina did not like that much .

One day when Sabrina was getting all her stuff afterschool (after detention) with Dalphne, Dalphne noticed that Mr.Grumpers classroom was hit by a tornado. When Sabrina went inside, she noticed that Mr. Grumper was in a huge spider web layind dead. However that wasn't all.On the chalkboard their was a red handprint-the exact same thing that was on their parents car after their disaperence.

Later the mayer (Charming) came with the Sheriff. After the investigation Charming made a deal with the Grimms: to work together on this case.

Later they figured out that the Princepal and Mr.Sheepshank was involved. Mr. Hameltin made the children come every night and to dig undergroun but the children woul not remember anything. They were trying to escape from Ferrypot Landing.It was also told that Sheepshank was Rumplestilskin. He had tooken lots of babies from the Everafters by making them look hopeless.

Later Charming gave Sabrine a pack of magical matches that could take them anywhere. Sabrina really wanted to have her parents back. So she used the matches and landed on a dark place. She saw her parents laying on a bed. She saw a girl about Dalphne's age. She put her hand on Dalphne's shirt and there was a red handprint on her shirt. She said that she wanted a grandma and a puppy.

Then the book said: To be continued ....
And it ended......

Sister's Grimn

There are 2 girls named Sabria and Dalphen Grimn. Thier parents mysteriously disappered an year and a half ago.They have been to many foster homes but they have ran away for each and every one of them. However, the orphanage person had got a phone call from an old lady who says that she is the sisters grandma, saying that she would be able to take care of these 2 girls. Sabrina thought that she was crazy because before her parents disappered, her dad told her that her grandmother was dead. On the other hand, Dalphen believed in everything. When they arrived to their foster home again.Dalphen got used to the house and her grandma (who Sabrina thinks she is a big-lying-freak). Sabrina can't get used to anything at all. Finnaly one day, her granny told them that most of the fairytales in the world was true. Those fairytale people considered themselves as Everafter's. However there were a fight between the humans and the,. At the result, most of the Everafters' were gone but very rare ones were alive. She said that the Grimns family's job was to take care of those Everafters if anything ever happened.Of course, Sabrina did not believe any thing when her younger sister did. The next day, grandma Relda took them to where a crime was comitted.A house was torn down by someone. Later 2 men came a short man was called Mr. Seven and a tall man was called Mr. Charming. They said that it was no crime and that it was an accident. However when Sabrina and her sister looked carefully, it seemed like a giant from bove stepped on the house.

Dalphen believed this when Sabrina thought that it was some kind of joke.However they started doing some more investigateing.

Later they visit the 피해자 at the hospital. Sadly, he has lost the memory because of Charming. They have no hope. When they come out, they see 3 man. They try to beat him up. Later they follow the three people. But while they investigate them, a giant appears. The sisters and the dog come out of the car but the giant takes Granny and her bodyguard. The Grimn's sisters are planning to save them.

This book later tell that Jack in "Jack and the beanstalk" brought the giant. Before he was in jail because it was told that the giant Jack brought stepped on the house. However he tricked the girls by making him look innocent. The sisters later save their grandma and Canis. Canis was the "big bad wolf", transformed, and ate Jack. Finally they figure out this person named Scarlet Hand kidnapped their parents. They are determined to get their parents back.

Three Cups of Tea

 Greg was lost. Litteraly. Comepletely.He was an American. He was climbing the K2 with his family and didn't notice that they went back home. He didin't know what to do. Until a small village spotted him and took care of him until he could recover....

The village did not have a school. they had to write with sticks.However, they served a cup of tea to Greg. The villagers were also nice to him. So, when Greg was ready to go back home, he promised the village Cheif that he would come back-That he would a school for them.
 When Greg was old enough to go back to the village, he was still determined to build a school for them. He asked many people for help for getting the supplies and money to build a school in that place (Patkistan). A friend offered to write a book about Greg's care and that he needed help. A man named Jean called Greg after reading about the book. He gave enough money to build a school. The next thing Greg knew was that he was heading on his way to the village. However, when he arrived, the Cheif said that they needed a bridge more than a school. Greg had no choice but to build the bridge first. When the bridge was completed, Greg ran out of money to build a school. He called a friend who knew about Jean and told him about everything of what had happened. The friend said that Greg should tell Jean of what the friend had exactly heard. At first, Greg was scared to tell Jean because he had already had got a plentyful of money. However, when Greg started calling Jean, Jean was happy to give more money to the village. However, he wnated to see a picture of the school of when it was completed. Greg was on his way to the village again. When he arrived, he noticed that another villge in Patkistan expected to build a school at their village. Greg refused but there was a fight going on. Later when the fight was setteled,Greg started building the school. Meanwhile, Jean had cancer and he became impatient to see the school he had paid. Greg promised that he would show Jean the picture as soon as possible. When the school was finished, Greg quickly went to the U.S, where Jean was and showed him the picture. Jean only had a few weeks until he could live on the earth. Greg became Jean's nurse for a while until Jean died. At the last minute when he was about to, he gave Greg  a hundred dollars and told him to finish to journey.

Greg started building schools. Meanwhile a terriest called Osama bin Ladin shot a bomb in the U.S. Greg still helped Afganistan (Osama was from Afganistan). He had recieved mafny emails calling him a traitor but Greg never gave up.One day these men came to him and asked him if he could build a school near their village.Greg said that he would build a school as soon as possible.  He also brought on of his friends who was a reporter with him to Patkistan because his friend wanted to write a stroy about that place. When Greg held a meeting a girl came and said that he had to keep his promise. Greg later realized that a longt time ago, he had promised that he would help her make her dream come true.Her dream was to become a nurse. Greg was happy that she was brave and that she stood up for herself. Later Money was filled in the girl's pink bag. The reporter was very shooked he wrote about this story. The girl was the first girl to have a job at her village.

Months later, Greg kept the mens' promise about building a school near village. Some people think that he represent the United States of America today.

Criss Cross

I recamand Criss Cross for thoses who have lots of hope in their hearts...

This book starts off introducing Debbie. She is a girl who hopes many things. She has a friend named Patty who talk onthe phone often.She hears a radio program with her friends and loves to read. One of her friends are called Hecter. He lives with his sister and his parents.One day, his sister asked him if they can go to this university.I think the place was close because I read that the university was doing this festival. When they arrived, Hecter heard someone playing the guitar and suddenly got interested to it.He takes free lessons inthe basment of a church and has a crush into this girl named Meadow. However sadly it seems like Meadow like another guy named Dan who is a guy good at football. It also seems like Debbie likes him too.Lenny is also one of Debbie's friend. He is very smart. It all began when he started reading the encycolopedia and really enjoyed it. Later, he got into other books and learned many things. His parents figured out that he was very talented when Lenny could fix a vacum cleaner that was broken. All of these people have many charateristics with different talents. I have only read half of the book but I think that something will change their relationships.

Debbie always goes the old ladies house to help her. Later she meets a boy named Peter who is staying at the old ladies house for a week. She then realizes that she has a crush on Peter. Unfortunantly, Peter has left to his home, California. Debbie has a crush on Dan too. However it does not say how the result will be at the end.

Hecter still has a crush on  Meadow. He tries to look good in front of Meadow but it seems like she just treats him as a friend. At the end, Hecter just enjoys his life with being friends with everyone.

In the end, it comes to a resu;t thst everyone is happy of what the have. Criss Cross is a great book!!!!!

The Girl

 Once upon a time, there was a married couple, Mr. Graves and Mrs. Graves who were very poor with no children. One hot summer day, they found a baby laid under a tree in a basket with a little note. They read the note together: Whoever finds this baby, please return it to me after 20 years, this day at  this tree . Before the 20 years, please do not tell this baby that you are not her real parents. However, please name her Rose, for it could be easier to find my baby.

Mr. and Mrs. Graves stared at each other, not knowing what to do. Suddenly, they smiled and noded that taking the baby was the right thing to do.

Years after when Rose Graves was 12  and she was very pretty. She was clever and the first kid to raise her hand at school when a teacher asked her a question too! She had lots of friends, the cafeteiea food was great. One preticular night, when Rose was on her bed lying, she heard a voice:  8 more years left until I see you, my dear Rose. You may not see me but I can see you.....

Rose froze, stood up and walked to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Graves,and told them exactly what the voice  said. After she finished, Mr. Graves said maybe she was too tired that she heard untrue things. Mrs.Graves walked into Rose's bed with Rose, and patted her until she was asleep.
Finally when the day had come to tell the truth to Rose, Mr. Graves told Rose that she was found in a basket this day, and showed her the note that her parents left in the basket. The three Graves stood up and got out of the door to head to the tree were they had found Rose.

They waited until something bright appered in there eyes. Seconds later, there was a bright angel. Rose ammediately hugged her because she knew somehow that it was her mother. The angelthanked the Graves' appered into the sky with Rose.

When the Graves came back home  Mrs. Graves stomach started to hurt! They went to the hospital and figured out that she was pregnet!

It was a girl and when the girl was born, they named her Rose Jr. Graves and the three Graves lived happily ever after.

Mr. Klutz is Nuts

I have a new book to introduce. Mr. Klutz wanted to encourage the whole school to read, write and spell. So on announcement day, he said they will have a ymmy chocolate party if the whole school does one million math problems, he will kiss a pig on the lips. It was so weird when he did it in the chocolate party. On the next announcement day, he said if students write an essay for themselves about "election day", he will climb up a flagpole and will do the pledge of the allegience. Then the whole school started writing essays and he did it. Mr. Klutz said weird things on announcement day. If the whole school write of one hundred thousand words by Thanksgiving, he will wear a turkey costume and ride a pogo stick down the main street. If reading one million minutes with parents before winter vacation, then he will dress up like Santa Claus and jump off the roof with a bungee jump. Then some school kids called. AJ, Andrea, Ryan, Emily and Michel go to Mr. Klutz's office and said if they read 100 million minutes with the parents, they don't want him to do want he announced today. On announcement day, he said he will take them to a pool if the whole school reads 100 million minutes with the parents. And they did. So they go to go to the pool

Tale of Desperaux

The First Book
It is about Desperaux being born. Unbelievable things happened to him.  For example, he fell in love with a human princess named Pea. There was an important rule that every mouse has to obey in their community. That was not to talk to humans and not be close to the humans' feet. But when Desperaux's brother Furlough saw him broke the law in the mice community, Desperaux had to go to the freaky dungeon. While he was in dungeon, Desperaux met a man named Gregory. Gregory wanted to hear a fairy tale story. He said he would help Desperaux out of the dungeon if Desperaux tells him a story. When Desperaux did it, he was saved. That's how the first book ends.
The Second Book
It was about Roscuro. It was way before Despereaux was born. I didn't tell you that the Princess Pea's mother had died, because of Roscuro. This is what happened. Roscuro first thought the light was beautiful. So he went upstairs out of the Dungeon. In the Palace, he saw yummy soup, so he went beside the soup. Meanwhile, in the palace, they were having a party. The queen loved the soup, but the sharp eye Princess Pea saw Roscuro. She said to her mom(the queen) that there's a rat beside her soup. The queen fainted and that's how she died. Roscuro had just realized that the word "rat" stinks, because Princess Pea had said the word, "rat". Roscuro had a plan to hurt Pea's feelings That's the ending of the second book.
The Thrid Book
It was about a poor girl named Miggery Sow. Her mother had died because of illness(disease). Her dad sold her with a red table cloth, a hen and a cigarette. Migg was a servant to the other man. If she didn't listen, she would get a clout ot the ear (pull her hear). But while in the castle, the King outlawed spams and soup. And when the soldier came to the man's house, he thought Migg was a poor girl. So he tried to take her to the castle. Oh! In the middle of the story, Mig wanted to become a princess. But when Mig went downstairs to serve the man in the dungeon, hshe met Roscuro. And Roscuro said he had a plan to make Mig into a princess.
The Fourth Book
It was after Desperaux telling...  While Mig was hearing Roscuro's plan in the dungeon, Mig said, "let's do the plan". She really wanted to become a princess. Their plan was to take the princess to the dungeon and make her take off her crown and her beautiful clothes. And they wanted to give it to Mig. But Roscuro's real plan was to put chains to the princess and never let Pea go. But when they too Pea to the dungeon that night, Desperaux was one his way to find the princess. While in the dungeon, Roscuro said Pea will be on chains and Mig never become a princess. Roscuro will be in charge of Pea. But it was too late when Desperaux arrived. He first thought, it was weird. But when he had notice the awful things he had done he made. Desperaux kill him. But Pea wanted to give Roscuro one more chance. So she did.  Mig got to meet her dad. Desperaux was friends with Pea. Roscuro got to be a kind rat

Best Friends


I read a book about Gemma. She has a best friend for her life. And her best friend is callled Alice. They share everything, even their bissest secrets! But Gemma figures out that Alice has a secret she isn't sharing. And the big secret is that Alice is moving. But it's not 3 mile moving. She's moving half around the world to London. Gemma is very mad at Auntie Karen, Alice's mom. Alice and Gemma are determined to run away, a real one. But when they are about to get on the train, their parents grab them and think it's all Gemma's fault. In fact, it was Alice's idea to run away.
In Alice's new school in London, there's a girl named Flora and it seems like she's taking Alice away from Gemma.  Plus, she even tries to make her own wish in front of Alice's birthday cake when Alice and Gemma are supposed to do that. Auntie Karen wants Flora to be Alice's best friend. She doesn't like Gemma. But Alice would like Gemma to be her best friend forever like they said they would
Gemma and Flora hate each other. Alice like both of them. At the end, it turns out that Alice is so-so with Flora but best friend forever with Gemma.

My sister the vampire

Did you ever once find a long lost twin sister? Well, Olivia once did when she was a new kid at school. And her twin sister is Ivy. But Ivy has a really grave secret. Ivy is a vampire! However, it doesn't matter for Olivia because Ivy is her sister. In her new school, there are a lot of vampires too who has not told her secret to any one..Together,they have four fasinsting adventures with wonderful discoveries. The first book 'switced' Is the first book when they discover that they are twins. I would say ages 11or up readers should read this because there are some pats young readers could be cunfused of. Rock on Ivy and Olivia!!

  There is a girl named Hollis Woods. She was born in a town called holliswoods when she was an hour old. When the orphanage found her, there was a sheet written: Please name her Hollis Woods.She is a girl who is very talented in drawing. Hollis has been to foster homes but has ran away. Her orphanage teacher, (as known as Mustard Woman to Hollis) is taking her to another foster home. Now she is at an old lady's house. Her name is Josie. The author explains how Hollis feels when she is being with her (Josie).

However even though Hollis has been to many foster homes, she remember one paticullarplace. It is a time with a 13 year old boy named Steven. She used to be with Steven's Parents too.She also used to draw lots of pictures in Steven's house. However for some reason, Hollis has ran away. So, at Josie's house, she looks at the pictures she drew and reminds herself of what happened in each one.

                                 TIME WITH JOSIE.
At first Hollis was very nervous. However when she noticed that Josie was a nice person, Hollis started feeling comfortable. Josie likes art and she draws and makes lots of pictures. Hollis has been missing school on purpose by sending "excuse" letters to her teacher. It's because She and Josie are working on a sculpture. However Hollis wonders why Josie does not say any thing about school.Hollis figures out why day after day.   For her, Joshie is a perfect guardian for her but has one problem. She noticed that Josie keeps on forgeting things They also whatch movies for free because Josie's best friend, Beatrice works there.She also knows that Josie forgets things. But for a while they would not be ableto go to the teatre for a while because Beatrice is going on vacation. Beatrice was an artist too. She coul not go on vacation because she thought that Josie might forget everything. Now, since Hollis is here she will trust her and go. Later, when Mustared woman notices that Hollis is not going to school , she eventually notices that Josie forgets stuff. So, Mustared woman takes Hollis to school and tells her that Hollis will go to another foster home. Hollis dose not want to go and leave Josie. So Hollis and Josie run away and Hollos says that they are gonna go to somewhere that is peceful, which is Steaven's house.

When they arrive, they notice that Steven and his parents are not there. Stiill, they go inside, Josie stars sleeping, and Hollis stars moving their bags.

In that house, they celebrated christmas. However, Hollis felt like someone was whatcing her and it was Steaven!!!

                           Much more things happened but the result was that Josie got to live with Beatrice and Hollis lived with Steven. Sometimes Hollis visted Josie but Josie sometimes did not remember her. (memory)

                                 TIME WITH STEVEN.
When Hollis first met Steven, it seems like he is a bragger. Later, when Hollis spends time with him, it seems like he is not a bragger after all. Steven's parent are also nice to her. Later they dicide that they will adopt Hollis. However, first, they have away from eachother for a while.When Hollis then becomes their daughter, all the land and sea will be hers....

 I don't really get why but I hope that they really will become a family...

In the book it told that when Hollis and Steven were driving in a truck, the truck flipped over and that Steven almost died. Hollis thought it was all her fault and that she was ruining the family...

                                                                                                                  That was why she ran away..

A Corner of the Universe

   Have you ever imagined that school was over and you have summer break but your best friend goes on vacation and you have no one to play with? Wat if your parents told you about an uncle you have never heard about for 12 years? What if the uncle was 21 and he went to a school that they take care mental peole with brain problems and the school closes down and that he has to live near you until they find another school? Would you be happy? Terrified? Eager?
                                                                             This book tells you the answer.


Hattie Owen is a girl who lives in a small town. She has no friends except Besty. However when it comes to vacation, Besty always goes to another place to spend her vacation which explains why Hattie can't celebrate her birthday with friends. She lives in a boarding house with mom, dad, Cookie, Angel, Mr. Penny, and Miss Hagerty. Cookie is like their housekeeper and Angel, Mr.penny, and Miss Hagerty has no relationship. They just stays because it's a boarding house. Nana is her grandma and Papa is her garandpa. They are in the same town as Hattie.

Hatties routine is always the same. In the morning she has to give Miss Hagerty her food while she is in bed. She is the first person who gets to she her. Then she does some chores. After that, she is finished. She goes out of her house and just takes a look outside. She has been doing this until her parents have told her about Adam her Uncle.

Adam was born with some brain problems. He does unpreditable things. His parents (Nana and Papa) have send him to a school where they know how to handle mental people. However, with some reason, the school was closing down. So, they told Hattie that Adam has to stay until they find a new school for him. Hattie is now very curious of Adam.

When Hattie first meets Adam, he is exactly the same her mom described him. However Hattie notices that no one is really dealing with his problems. Hattie beging to talk with him. Later, Adam begings to visit her. Hattie realizes that they are close as friends now.

Everytime in life, things can go wrong. For Adam, things went a lot wrong for him. He was stressed out of his life, he hung himself in the shed behind Nana's and Papa's. Hattie was sad but not that suprised when her parents told her about it.

At the funeral, Hattie made a speech and said :      
                                                                       I want you to know that Adam was not a freak.But he was called a freak and he was called lots of names.And that was one of the thingsthat made it hard to be Adam. Adam, had good times and he had bad times. I think we should remember that Adam was one of those people who lift the corners of our universe.

And I think that is true too. No matter how small, tall, different you are, you can be you can be one of those people who can lift the corners of our universe. 

                                                                     

A Wrinkle in Time.

In chapter 1, It explains about Meg Murry's (who is the main charater) family. She has a younger brother named Charles a mother and a pair of twins , Sandy and Denny. Meg does not really know about her father, who dissapered one day. One stormy night, when Meg decieded to have a midnight snack, Charles was waiting for her. Minutes later mother came down. Charles was explaining about Mrs.Bumcombe, and that this robert stole her "information paper", and that the rober would be wandering at this stormy night. Mother could not stand it so she told Meg that she would go out and find the rober and that she would offer he/her that he/she could stay for the night. Later, she came in with this lady beside her called Mrs. Whatsit. Meg finds out that Chales and Mrs. Whatsit knew eachother because Mrs. Whatsit stole the papers because she needed it. After Mrs. Whatsit warmed up a little bit, she left saying that a tesseract exist. What is a tesseract?

Meg wanted to find out what a tesseract was, because it made mother very frightened. She and Charles went to Mrs. Whatsit's house but insted there was Mrs.whatsit's  friend, Mrs. Who. Then she meets a boy named Calvin who is older than her. Charles invites Calvin to his house for supper, and Calvin seemed excited

After supper,Calvin said that she was lucky to have a great mom.He also kept asking questions and Meg could not handle it so she cried. Charles went to them and said that it was it. Later, Mrs.Whatsit, Mrs. Who appear with their other friend named Mrs. Which. Mrs. Which says that so much to do. So much of what?

In  chapter 4,Meg, Calvin, and Charles got to expirence time traveling. They came to a unkown plante and than Mrs. Whatsit gave them a flower to use it when she said so. Then Mrs. Whatsit got  wings and said   they were going to somplace. They saw this mysterious black thing but never talked to it but kept on looking at it. After Mrs. Who landed and when they could not see the black thing anymore, someone had said that Meg/Charles father was fighting that black thing.


This chapter was basicly about what a tesseract was. They also met this other person called Happy Medium showing about the black thing with her ball. The black thing was covering the earth and it had war with the stars for some reason and the stars won but they lost their lives. The balck thing is just evil so he could live. That was why Meg's Father was fighting it.

In chapter 6 the crystal ball explained that the black thing got to have war with the stars somehow. The stars had won but they had lost their lives. They also found out that Mrs. Whatsit used to be a star and now I am guessing that all the stars who died transform to a person/thing like Mrs. Whatsit. Then after they had said goodbye to Medium, they continued their journey. However the 3 ladies, (the Mrs's) had said that Meg Charles and Calvin should continue without them. They gave them some clues and said that they had to go to this capital city named Camazots.. One of the clues was that Charles would be in the most danger and that Calvin would be able to communicate. Not physically ...

 While they were on their way they saw these people jumping balls without missing a beat. They also talked to a boy Charles age but did not sound like a child. The child had also talked about the CENTRAL Central Intelligence was located in the Camazots. Charles demanded that he had the feeling and that he had to get in that place but on the other hand, Calvin said that he had a terrible feeling.

When they went inside the central park, Charles asked this random man what the concept was around this place. When he explained it, Meg, Charles and Calvin told him that they didn't get it. Frustrated, the man told them that he would be reporting to the IT which they didn't get either. The next thing they knew was that they were in front of lots of machines and the mysterious man wth red eyes was sitting on the chair. He was talking to them, but his lips were not moving. They noticed that he was talking in their brains. He said lots of complicated things, but Charles replied as if he knew what to say.When Charles asked who he was, the man said that he would tell if he followed him. And that moment Meg realized that the man might know about her father. When she asked he said that if only Charles followed him then he ( Chrales) should know . He also promised Charles that he could come back. So Charles agreeded even before Meg could stop him. Meg had to think of something to say before the 2 went. She quickly said that she was hungry and that she wanted food. When the man did give her food, it was pretty delicious according to what Meg and Calvin was saying. However to Charles it tasted like dust. The man said that it was because Charles believed in him. When Charles was about to leave, Meg dropped her bowl and shouted in Calvin's face that the Charles we they were talking to, was not the real Charles they used to be with.

When Meg demanded where the real Charles was, the man replied that the real Charles was the one who Meg was seeing. However, somehow, Meg knew that the Charles he was seeing was fake. Calvin realized that the red eyed man was talking trough Charles. Hso, Calvin asked the man if he can lead the 3 to Mr. Murry. The man replys that Charles with conduct them. And later Meg realizes that they are following Charles. Meg then asks Calvin if he might be able to communicate with "Charles" somehow remembering what the old ladies told the three. While Calvin was almost about to succede the conversation, Charles turned away. They kept walking... Util they saw a transparent colum. And in there, there was...
                                             Mr. Murry.

Meg rushed to her father but bonked her head instead because it was a transparent glass. Then she used a glass the ladies gave her. Meg met his Father and they both came out un the colum safely. Meg explained that this was not the real Charles... Charles was keep on demanding that they had to go see IT. Father had said said no but minutes later, they were facing IT. ..

It was a brain

IT was keep on persuading Meg and Calvin to come to his side. Eventually when they were about to. Mr. Murry saved  them right in time by moving out of Camazots. However they left Charles alone.

While Meg was in pain after the traveling and while they were in a unknown place, they met three giants. The giants said that they would help them and so Mr. Murry agreed. They healed Meg and gave Calvin and Meg's dad plenty of food. However Meg had kept saying that she had to save Charles. The giants considered her to call out for the 3 old ladies. And at the of the chapter, Mrs. Which was calling out that they were there.

Mrs. who, Whatsit, and Whitch was expaining that the only person who could save Charles was Meg. Meg had to go alone back to Camazots to save him. After all the fighting, the solution was that Meg would go by herslf to save Charles. After Mrs. Whitch moved in to Camazots with Meg, She told her that Meg had sometimed IT did not have. Then leaving those last words, Mrs. Witch was gone..

Facing IT would probably be terrifying for Meg.  When she faced him, Charles was the same cold child. Then Meg suddenly realized what she had... and it was love. She kept saying to Charles that she loved him, so the real Charles came back. They came back to Earth safely with Calvin and Father. The old ladies came to but it seemed likr they were in a rush. They said that they were sorry that they could not say properly good-bye. They were about to say more but their sentence were cut off because..

                                                                                                                        They turned into dust.

                                                                              

A Single Shard

My first book I want to introduce is called "A Single Shard". The main character is named Tree- ear who is an orphan boy and he likes to watch Min who is a Master potter making pottery and who lived in the twelfth century. For a very long time he has lived in a town called Ch'ulp'o with Crane-man barely living with a little bit of food. However one day Tree-ear sneaked into the workplace when Min was not there. He investigated the whole workshop and he spots one particular box and opened it. However at that moment Min spotted him and Tree-ear accidentally broke it,  being very surprised by getting caught by Min. Now he has to work for the Master (Min) to pay the damage he has made. From that moment and on, Tree-ear is searching for his dreams. He continues to work even though the days are over to work for the master. Min  and his wife gives him plentiful of three meals for him to  eat. However he saves half of it and gives it to Crane-man. The days are now improving on him.


It is very unlikely to have one Master potter in a village. Another honorable potter people know in the village is a Master potter called Kang. He has lots of ideas on his pottery, and Tree-ear always checks out on what he is doing and tries to figure out his ideas. He's dying to tell Min about these ideas but he considers it of "stealing" someones idea. Kang is working on something very special, which explains why Tree-ear started the spying. He also noticed that an emissary, named Kim came along on a boat to choose a Master potter to show the King's court his work. Now Tree-ear understood why Kang and Min were working on their pot so hard- to impress the emissary. Kim looked at Kang's display the longest which made some potters give up. He then looked at Min's and he seemed pleased.

Kim had finally made a decision to spend more time visiting the potters whose work most interested him.

Min does not care on what Kang is doing but concentrates on his own ability. Meanwhile, Tree-ear tries to help and do his best for Min and his pot. However one day, Min's wife told Tree-ear that Min needed more clay. Her face told him that something was wrong. He soon figured out that lots of pieces were laying on the ground which meant that Min had smashed his own vases with frustration.

Surprisingly, Kim had came earlier than they had expected, and had to choose Kang having no choice. However,
Kim had still asked if Min could bring his work to Kim. Tree-ear had volunteered to bring it to where Kim was. It was a long  and dangerous journey for him...

While he was more then half way, he met some robbers and ended up having the vases smashed. Tree-ear still carried on with the broken vases. When he arrived to Kim, (who was ALOT disappointed) I was not sure if he described that the robbers broke it. When he came back, he was heard that Crane-man had died because of a sudden heart attack.So, from now on Tree-ear had to live with Min and his wife.He was now called Hyung-pill because Min-used to have a son but he died.

Even though lots of things happened, it was a great book. :-)
